Finished in January 2006 for the Concorde Group, this triple concept restaurant and lounge was the ultimate challenge in terms of combining three distinct design styles into one space.  In this “L” shaped floor plan, the client wanted to include at one end ei8ht, a self contained modern restaurant with it’s own entrance, bar and wine storage. The raised middle area was to be a deep red asian influenced lounge with its own functional custom 15’ glass aquarium bar top full of exotic fish.  Back down to the main floor we have the final concept which is an homage to the original Mercury built years ago and recently demolished.  This long and narrow room is a throwback to the 1940’s martini tavern with a modern influence, combining elements of the past and present seamlessly weaving in and out of a bygone era.
