Designed and Completed for the Concorde Group in 2009, this revolving restaurant sits 510’ above street level in the Calgary Tower. The intent of this design was for diners to experience the amazing view while being surrounded in modern style and comfort. The space planning was minimal given the "doughnut" shape of the existing layout, so the goal was to turn our efforts toward the materials and design elements. We incorporated custom furniture designs which accentuate the views, reconfiguring the entire ceiling to reinforce the circular shapes and custom millworking throughout for added warmth and comfort. Custom graphic images and wall treatments complete the transformation from the bland to the exceptional all the while not competing with the stunning views.
