STONEHILL TAVERN - Calgary AB:

This 11,000 sq ft two level stand alone restaurant and tavern began as Flight Deck until bought by Vintage Group in 2010. The renovation was geared toward turning a very large and unsuccessful restaurant into a more comfortable yet contemporary & warm tavern. Given the huge volume of space in the base building, we needed to bring in more intimacy and comfort but also need a signature focal point that would be talked about throughout the city. What we designed was in fact Calgary's largest wine tower at over 2 ½ stories tall, structurally self supporting with lit glass panels and its own lift in the centre, it is a thing to behold.
